Our Mission- To show the love of Jesus to those affected by AIDS by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support.

The Promised Land (TPL), a 15 acre farmstead with several barns and out buildings, just 15 minutes South of the Dwelling Place, serves as staff housing, some offices, a place to host guests, speakers, and sometimes students.

We call it the Promised Land because it is the fulfillment of a vision to the children of Penny Dugan our Director during their training at the University of the Nations, Kona, HI.  While seeking the Lord on their next step the Lord showed them a white house with lots of trees and a white fence in front.  There was a fireplace, wood floors and horses in the pasture.  That is what this property features.  The Lord showed them people in YWAM from the church and sick people, then they realized it was people with AIDS.  That was the beginning of the seeking to start a ministry to people with AIDS.

The vision becomes Reality.  In 1995, NJM was given the money for a down payment on this property located in Valley Center, KS.  As a farmhouse with six bedrooms 5 ˝ baths, once a bed and breakfast, now serves as great staff housing.  It also has a smaller house for a single family, three barns, a fireside room, chicken coop, a screened pavilion, horse stable, and other out buildings.  Six RV sites are planned to host mission builders visiting to work on the properties.

The Promised Land has become a place of hospitality and housing for staff and short-term work teams.  We’ve also been host to several YWAM outreach team; from as close as Oklahoma and all the way from Japan!

New Jerusalem Missions hopes to develop The Promised Land into a self-sustaining training/service center, complete with pasture, garden and poultry barn.
