Harvey County Homeless Shelter-  An outreach to local community of Newton and the surrounding area.  The shelter provides Emergency Housing from one day to one week, or transitional housing one week or longer.  The need to be determined with a case manager.  The case manager will help to get you get on your feet and into an independent living environment.  The Harvey County Homeless shelter is open to men, women, and families.

New Jerusalem Missions houses the shelter and helps along with a local Board of Directors to give oversight to this outreach.  It has been a grassroots effort, and New Jerusalem Missions serves as the Catalyst.  Staffed by congregations and local volunteers and supported by business owners and area congregations.
