If 100 people could contribute $l00 a month this would cover the expenses of both ministries' overhead to operate, which really is necessary as we don't take government grants in either country. Half would cover the expenses of office and work in Kansas and the other half would cover food for the sick and salaries of those working at Ukukhanya Life Care Centre.

New Jerusalem Missions (as well as Ukukhanya Life Care Centre in Durban, South Africa) relies heavily on the body of Christ coming together to help do the work. We will operate with mimimal full time missionaries who raise their own support so we invite you to bring your gifting and serve along side us as we show the Love of Jesus to those infected with AIDS, whether reading or cleaning, teaching a skill or filling a staff position and help care directly for the people. Your talents are welcome with us.
We feel with the facilities we have, as tools to house people and provide care and support, we set an arena for the body of Christ to operate through. We see our centres as a place that all the people who want to help and use their talents, but don't know where to go or how to start, can come and join us. Fulfilling a desire to be outside the four walls of a "church" and come be The Church to those who desperately need to learn of the relationship available to them with Jesus.
